Winged Eyeliner - Can't get enough of it!

I can't get enough of the winged eyeliner trend. What a great way to add a little edginess to a look! Try using MAC Blacktrack Fluidline and a #266 angle brush to perfect the look. Start thin on the inner corner, and build the liner thicker as you draw outward. Use the shape of the lower lash line as a guide to pull the wing out and up. You'll almost be drawing a mini triangle to make the wing. You can connect the wing to the lower lashes for a more dramatic look. or leave it as is for a classic look.

It takes some practice to get this right. I suggest doing both eyes, (chances are, they'll be a little off), then choosing which one you like better. Give the angled brush a quick swipe in some eye makeup remover. Erase and correct the eye you didn't like as much to match the one you did!

Another trick to the winged eyeliner is the stamping technique. To avoid the liner pointing at 1 o'clock and 9 o'clock, try making a small mark with the angled brush and fluidline to stamp out the shape of the wing. From here, open and adjust before perfecting.

With this look, keep the skin clean and glowing by using MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural and MAC Strobe Liquid.

This week was quite busy for me. I worked with photographer Paul Audia on two different projects. The first was a publicity headshot for an interior designer based in bucktown. The second was a test shoot for the former loop girl, Crystal. She recently had a baby and is looking fabulous. We did some nice headshots for her to scout to modeling agencies.
